Bonaire, Netherland Antilles

I first went to Bonaire in 1999, and it was
my first trip with an underwater SLR camera (the Nikonos RS).
It was exciting for me to discover the joys of macro photography
on that trip and Bonaire provided plenty of subjects. In 2003,
with a trip planned to the Indo Pacific, but SARS intervening,
minute return trip
to Bonaire. Since our first trip was pre-(hurricane)-Lenny,
we expected to see a Bonaire diminished from
our previous visit. Though there were visible signs of damage,
and the Pink Beach that we remembered is gone,
Bonaire still was full of wonderful diving and sightseeing.
