This was my fourth trip to the Solomons, but I never get tired of this place ... This time we traveled with friends, and it was a fun trip. Several days in Brisbane with kangaroos, koala bears, good wine and didgeridoos. And then the Bilikiki with great diving, great food and great company. We saw the normal array of critters, from silver tip sharks to pygmy seahorses. We hit most of my favorite places, including Wreck of the Ann, which eluded us two years ago due to a pesky island lawyer. I was blessed with problem free cameras, so I was able to enjoy the luxury of just concentrating on photography. And we visited the islanders on several occasions, to negotiate for their beautiful carvings and meet their captivating children. The Solomons is a very special place...
